Hungarian horses were brought to America under extraordinary circumstances, post WWII. Today, a small group of Hungarian horse enthusiasts is working to breed their U.S. mares with stallions in Hungary, reconnecting their horses to their ancestral lineage and preserving genetic diversity.
Horse Diamonds explores how Hungarian horses first came to America, the creation of the Hungarian Horse Association of America (HHAA), and the ongoing efforts of modern breeders to keep the Kisberi-Felver bloodline alive.
